Wayne, NJ—David V. Rasa MD RPh, was appointed Wayne Township Police physician on January 8, 2003 at a meeting of the Municipal Council. The council unanimously adopted the resolution.

"The position enables me to continue my commitment to the community and the police officers that serve us," said Rasa.

Rasa’s community involvement extends beyond the Wayne Police Department; he is also a police physician for West Paterson, a school physician for Wayne and Riverdale, and a team physician for the Wayne Township High School football players.

Rasa is a partner in a busy medical practice, High Mountain Health, with locations in Wayne and North Haledon.

"It’s not that I have excess  time for these responsibilities, however it is important to be involved in the community you practice and live in," said Rasa.
