Opens New Center in Wayne

The Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center of High Mountain Health works with patients who are recovering from orthopedic or sports injuries, surgery, sprains and strains, and industrial orPhysical Therapist Dr. Fred Knight guides an exercise work-related accidents.

Although we treat a wide range of rehabilitation needs, our main priority is always to help restore our patients’ prior level of physical function and activity.

Our highly experienced clinicians evaluate and diagnose new patients. They establish a physical therapy program and manage the patient’s progess toward recovery. From our new, state-of-the-art facility at 246 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, our Therapists work with patients to restore, maintain and promote optimal physical movement, wellness and fitness.

Sports Medicine specialists evaluate and treat musculoskeletal disorders, such as painful or injured joints and muscles, and over-use injuries such as tendonitis and stress fractures. They also treat non-musculoskeletal aspects of sports medicine, such as concussions and other head injuries, helping athletes with chronic and acute illness; nutrition, supplements, ergogenic aids and performance issues. They prescribe exercise regimens, injury prevention and healthy lifestyles.
