Founding Partner of High Mountain Health
David V. Rasa, M.D. is a lifelong New Jersey resident. He is a Board Certified Family Physician treating patients in northern New Jersey for more than 25 years. Prior to to becoming a doctor, Dr. Rasa was a Registered Pharmacist. Born in St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, he was raised in the Totowa section of Paterson. Dr. Rasa speaks English and Spanish. He enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

A resident of Wayne, Dr. Rasa and his wife Diane have three children.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Kaneez earned her Masters of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009. The recipient of the Stanley S. Bergen Jr. MD Medal of Excellence award, she was named Distinguished Graduate Ambassador following her international practice in the United States, Canada and Namibia.  Born in Kenya, Kaneez’ family moved to Canada when she was a child and she later moved to the United States.  Today, she is married, has two children and resides with her family in Pequannock.

Physician Assistant
Andres Vega earned his Master of Science, Physician Assistant degree in 2014 from Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions. Prior to that, Andres earned a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science in 2010 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  He is a 2009 graduate of the Rutgers University School of Arts & Sciences with a BA in Biological Sciences.

Andres brings a warm, positive, confident attitude to his patients and has clinical experience from having worked in Urgent Care setting and as a Pharmacy Technician from 2010 to 2011. He is a resident of Kinnelon.
